This is a great example of what it's really like on the Ninja 300. I had one for a while before upgrading to a bigger bike. Sometimes I wish I had not 'upgraded'. The 300 was so much fun to throw into corners.

Murtanio I always see people saying 300's are small and not enough to have fun with and that you'd outgrown them within days, but I havenæøt seen anyone close to riding it like you.. It seems like the 300-500's are enough to learn on and get all the nescecarry skills and some extra to become a great rider.

Good video and a good pace your riding (plus 130km/h). I think you know the track well. I started out on a Kawa 250 ZZR years ago and then several years on a 660 KTM allroad and a 750 Elefanti (Ducati motor/Cagiva frame) but I really like the new Kawa 300. You are really racing without going 200 km/h plus and trying to kill myself......

Great illustration of how important it is to know your road. He knew to brake hard on the hairpin curves. In the USA, I've ridden on two southern roads often: The Dragon's Tail (TN & NC) and State Route 60 GA which is much longer and more diversity. However, I seldom ride those roads without seeing the carnage of riding on a road the rider didn't know well. Although I have a Triumph RS 955i, I think liter bikes should be discontinued for street use. I know most people will disagree, but lose your best friend on one, and you'll understand better.

xGipas As far as I know its not damaging, but just do it if you accelerate. Its harsh when you quickshift from a constant speed. Try it yourself.

I wonder that too..this is his first year of riding I think.. but he must had some experience before..it's not possible to learn it this fast..and I wasn't a slow learner or pussy on bike at all (both knee downs in 2nd season on street, on track it's easy, with proper technique not some crazy body gymnastics)..but this is insane!

Those clutchless upshifts...fuck, if I tried that at those revs my gearbox would rip itself to pieces. The force required to move the shifter is so unpredictable, it's frustrating sometimes

Murtanio Cool bike. I'm taking lessons to get my license and I don't know what to start with for my very first bike. Ninja 300 or Cbr600rr, everyone says they get bored of the 250 and 300 very quickly. Got any tips?

MJP F They get bored because they dont practice proper riding. Instead they enjoy the acceleration and speed on straights. Obviously the 300 will become boring if you just search your joy in acceleration. But if you have some nice twisties next to you and want to practice proper riding, the 300 is awesome. Think about what you want to do with the bike. If you want an aggressive riding position, like a supersport, prefer the 4 cylinder sound instead of 2 cylinder and want to drag your knee soon, better get a cbr 600rr. I gues its harder to learn proper riding on a 600.

Weiß ich gar nicht, ich denk mir halt so 10km=ca 1 Euro. Bei mir leuchtet auch meistens das Eco-Zeichen. Ich fahr nur so, nachdem ich die Strecke abgefahren bin und geguckt habe, ob es sauber und frei ist.

you can do it on every bike. on my ninja 300 it's just wonderful.. it gets the gear as you are engaging the clutch even if you don't to!

Hab mich einmal bei Nässe gelegt. Bin zu schräg in die Kurve, bei nasser Straße, und hab mich dann auf die Seite gelegt. Aja und in der Fahrschule hab ich mich mal aufm Parkplatz gelegt, als ich Vollbremsungen geübt habe.

Hast du am Motorrad wegen dem "Unfall" teile getauscht? Und ab wie viel Kilometern sollte man die Bremsen, Öl etc. wechseln?

Musste ein Lenkerstummel, ein Endgewicht und ein Blinker ersetzten. Außerdem hab ich die Seite verspachtelt und mit plasti dip versehen. Öl ist vorgeschrieben, Beläge halt wenn sie abgebremst sind.
