Just to give you guys a reference. In my neighborhood, car alarms go off like crazy. Even while keeping the bike under 6k rpm. It sounds so sweet tho. I ride a 2013 636

For anyone who thinks the stock baffle that came with the M4 GP is too loud, MotoMummy sells a "Stage 2" Baffle that will cut the stock M4 GP baffle loudness in almost half. And, the Stage 2 Baffle is still louder than the stock OEM exhaust. I attempted to ride with M4 GP and the stock baffle it arrived with but it was way too loud and annoying. The Stage 2 worked well. If there was a stage between the stock M4 GP baffle and the Stage 2, I believe it would be perfect. The M4 GP also sounds incredible on the ZX10RR!!
@davidliverpool03736 жыл бұрын
So can you stand the sound of the exhaust now with the stage 2 baffle in?
@mugaguest18 жыл бұрын
Don't hear much difference with the baffle being out but that's just me. Loving the sound though. Has a nice round town.
@andreaschristodoulou10615 жыл бұрын
Because it's already quite loud even with it on! Trust me, there's huge difference tho... Personally, I think with the baffle it sounds deeper and already loud enough!
@adamstratford67409 жыл бұрын

Video doesn’t do a justice to the difference, also you won’t notice much until around 6k. Definitely worth it. Jealous of how easy he made it look with the snap ring. I scratched tf out of mine as I could only get one end of it up and pried it out basically. Definitely worth it though, idc if it’s a little ugly

Just got through installing the M4 GP Full Exhaust on my '13 636 and love it! It does make a huge difference than the toned down exhaust :) Did yours throw a CE light or did you leave the servo motor under the seat still connected to the harness? Thanks for sharing

It's hard to tell a difference in the two, but thanks for uploading this. I just ordered one and didn't even realize you could remove the baffle. Is it noticeably deeper or louder without the baffle in person?
@KAMDRides9 жыл бұрын
It is not a lot louder without the baffle, but it is deeper and it pops and crackle's more on deceleration. I also watched a dyno comparison and I think it is around a 3hp gain. You will love the M4 but maybe consider getting some ear plugs if you are riding long distance. Thanks for watching man.
@grandman12359 жыл бұрын
I was just watching that dyno video and couldn't believe the differences in numbers he claimed. I'm running Auto Tune with my PC5 and it cleans the exhaust pops and cracks right up unfortunately. Good to hear about the tone without the baffle though.
@KAMDRides9 жыл бұрын
grandman1235 Yeah man the difference in that video blew me away as well. That is a shame that it cleans up the pops and crackle's, I love that really fast popping sound you get when you hold the throttle dead even! A power commander and auto tune will most likely be my next mod.
@grandman12359 жыл бұрын
While running the Two Brothers base map I had a decent flame or two on engine breaking from a high RPM. After a couple weeks of map trims it was noticeably less, but I still see it once and awhile. It runs so smoothly, even compared to running a generic map on the PC alone. FYI, I bought a header from MJS and had them weld the Auto Tune bung on before shipping it. Not sure if you've heard of them but they sell gutted & ceramic-coated stock headers. That header with this M4 on the end makes an all-black exhaust that looks sick. On a side note I finally got this exhaust on and that baffle out. I just don't think I can use the baffle after hearing it without haha. Love it
@KAMDRides9 жыл бұрын
grandman1235 Crazy, I can't say I have ever had flames...maybe something to look forward to when i get the power commander haha. The MJS header sounds like it could be worth looking into, all black would be nice. I was the same haha, when I first put the M4 on I thought "no way am I taking that baffle out" then I took it out just to hear it and it has never gone back in lol.

Awesome sound w/o baffle. Sounds like more of a deeper tone. I'm curious how you extracted the baffle though? I have the same bike same year but different color. Same exhaust too.
@KAMDRides9 жыл бұрын
Yeah dude, it is not a lot louder but definitley a deeper tone without the baffle. There should not be anything more to removing the baffle than what you see in the video, you just need a pair of internal cir-clip plyers to remove the cir-clip that holds it in and I used the other set of plyers to pull it out as it was still hot. Let me know how you go man.

How would this Pipe compare to a Yoshi loudness wise. Like it it a lot louder even with baffle or about the same?
@KAMDRides9 жыл бұрын
I can't really give you a well informed answer sorry man, as I have not heard a Yoshi on a 636 in person, though from video's I have watched I think a Yoshi would be a little quieter and possibly the better option if the cops where you live are going to hassle you about it. To be honest the M4 sounds nice but is pretty damn loud when it comes to everyday riding, as for the baffle.. it seems to only marginally reduce the overall volume, however it takes away a lot of the "crack" I hope this helps.

Question: I’m installing a M4 GP19 slip-on onto my 2021 ZX-6r and I’ll be eliminating the cat-converter along with adding the servo buddy. With that being said, is a flash needed? Does it ruin the bike in any way if I go without doing this?
@tattedtwitch182 жыл бұрын
I have the same exact bike. Did the m4 slip on and servo buddy. Doesnt throw a code plus you get some more storage space under passenger seat. You dont need to flash or tune because its just a slip on. But you can if you want to. Ive been running my 2021 zx6r like that since August, no problems 3k miles so far.

I just received my M4 for my 2015 ninja zx6r 30th anniversary. Is it hard to remove the cables on the stock exhaust? Do I just need to remove the stock and install the m4? thanks man!
@KAMDRides9 жыл бұрын
rachael337 HI, it has been a while since I did mine, but removing the cables was pretty easy, the only part that was difficult was getting the bulky stock exhaust past the rear wheel, you have to spin the rear wheel as you go and just wiggle it bit by bit. If I remember correctly the cables just had some retaining nuts.
@rachael3379 жыл бұрын
K.A.M.D Rides Thanks man! hopefully it wont be a pain in the ass for me! If it becomes too much for me, Imma take it to a professional installer cause I would hate to mess up the bike in any way. Its my second bike after I upgraded from a ninja 300.
@KAMDRides9 жыл бұрын
rachael337 You should be alright man, you have to get a little rough to get it past the rear wheel but there isn't much you can mess up. Nice man, my first road bike was a 09 ninja 250.
@Muilisxx9 жыл бұрын
rachael337 Remove them from the servo motor only. DO NOT remove the motor itself, and leave them connected to the stock can. Remove the stock exhaust and feed the cables through the fairings of the bike. This way if you ever sell it and the person wants the stock exhaust. All they do is fit it, run the cables up, and connect them to the motor. Also, make sure you remove the PRECHAMBER BOX as well with the M4GP. That's the bronze box that the stock exhaust was connected to. Remove it as far as you can and when it hits the back wheel just wiggle it up and down softly until it pops off. Connect the M4GP to the remaining pipe. I have a '14 Black and White non ABS model. s18.postimg.org/6x2fdx6ex/Bike_Fixed.jpg
