I was hoping you were going to show where the power connector plugged into that connects to the 12v power. I have aftermarket Baja lights and do not yet have them hooked to a switched relay, only an on/off full 12v from battery. But good video on the OEM system!

The lights are great. And in the fog it helps a lot. But the switch is to far of the gas. I have to put it on with my left hand.

How many watts do they draw, please? If you have that info I have a set of these on my 2015 and am calculating total draw on my stator with my heated grips, vest, these lights etc. THANK YOU GREAT VID!!! I called the dealer and they wouldnt help...as you can imagine. Awesome lights though, and vid!!

Your welcome. You can buy the same lights for verysy 650 by your local kawaski dealer (with 650 mount). Unfortunately they are not cheap.

Great idea Liam, I will make short vid with night ride, although it will take a while because I am on the winter break until the end of February. These led lamps are great, they give a lot of light at night. So they actually give such a strong light that I had to lower them because the drivers from the opposite direction blinked at me. Ride safe.

Well done video. I'll take delivery of my 2022 Versys SE LT this coming week - trading in my older Ninja 1000. Have the OEM lights on order - at $500+ they better be good! ;) I was curious it they were controlled by headlight switch - I see with yours they are not - and that's good.

Does the placement of the fog lights interfere with other drivers being able to see your front directionals / blinkers?

It's OEM Kawasaki fog lights mount, specially design for versys 1000, you need something aftermarket or custom made.

You don't need relay for the fog lights, inside the front fairing is already OEM connector, just plug in en you are done. Greets

MotoAndy Really? I didn't know that. I was pretty sure when I visited the Kawi site and looked up the fog lights it said you needed the relay! I have the relay either way. That's good news! Thanks for sharing. Do you think the OEM Kawi lights are worth it? I've seen some aftermarket stuff but am sometimes leery of them.

Dają mocne światło i pasują wyglądem do motocykla, w nocy dość dobrze oświetlają drogę aczkolwiek jadący z naprzeciwka nie są z tego powodu zadowoleni ;-) ogólnie oceniam pozytywnie, czy są warte ceny....to raczej kwestia osobista, ja dostałem światła w pakiecie GT więc wyszło troszkę taniej.

These Auxiliary lights are terrible. I had them on a couple of my bikes and threw them away to a bin. Not only they are cheaply made, and not serve as illumination, but they are not even suitable for DRL. I replaced them all with Denali.
