Go for it , it is more like a beast and if you go off roads or long trips often, it is the bike for you.

Long trips, dont you want the smaller 650 for smaller trips to save on gas .....? I dont know im just a wannabe rider and want a 650

Wont the mud, gravel and debris splash on the pillion and the rider in the absence of a rear mudguard? Does the front wheel also shove debris into the engine bay? Are there protectors available for it? How easy is it to clean this bike after a gruelling session in the rains?
@cardekho8 жыл бұрын
Muck gets sprayed onto the rear of the any motorcycle, nothing different in the case of the Versys 650. Also, radiators getting clogged due to muck and debris sprayed by the front wheel is common phenomenon but after market radiator guards are equally common and are available in the market for most bikes. As for cleaning, a pressure wash is usually good enough to do away with the deposits.

Nice review but I think it's difficult to ride any motorbike off road with road tires, like slicks in the wet. The 650 Versys is designed for touring & light gravel roads, not cross country Paris Dakar. I don't think you gave a fair assessment of what this bike is all about.

Good job on the review. Just one piece of advice, do not inherit any editing style from power drift, I could see some traces of that. Use your own creativity and tread your own path to be unique and competitive.I'm happy about the fact that the presenter speaks good English and can pronounce words correctly, that's a rare package to find considering the other hideous reviews that exist :D

Ssaajan Manoj Jogia be that as it may PD doesn't have a patent on any particular camera or narration technique and incorporating certain elements here and there shouldn't be a big deal...as long as the execution is good. no offence mate...just my point of view...cheers!
@saajanjogia7 жыл бұрын
Kshitij Shah that doesn't make sense. Just because a company hasn't patented their shit, doesn't mean you copy it. Being different is what counts, else you're just another nobody. But if you consider china to be heading the right direction, then I feel sorry for wasting my time. Cheers 😃
@MadM0nkey7 жыл бұрын
Ssaajan Manoj Jogia just clam down dude...its not that this video is a straight copy of PD. different elements of film making may be used differently and to different extent by different film makers. A preferred style doesn't make it a sole province that may not be borrowed another filmmaker. The analogy with Chinese goods is misplaced, if not juvenile. so just calm down and don't get ur knickers in a twist. be a fan not a fanboy of PD.
@saajanjogia7 жыл бұрын
Kshitij Shah ah now I see where you come from. You have not even understood what I've tried to say earlier but have started on you amateur film making gyaan. That's what happens when you have limited analytical abilities but do well with a couple of googled idioms. It's okay though, I do feel sorry for you but it's not your mistake 😁

What will be the meilege on high or in city
@cardekho7 жыл бұрын
+Nikhil Gawas The claimed fuel efficiency figure stands at 21kmpl. Rest, all depends on one's riding style/habit.

Nice review Abhay.... :) is the seat height manageable for a guy who is 5 feet 7 inches tall? 😉
@cardekho8 жыл бұрын
Yes! The seat height of the Versys 650 is perfect for Indian riders, and you should not have any trouble handling the bike with your height. To get a better perspective we suggest you try sitting on the bike at a Kawasaki dealership.

Which tire is perfect this bike
@cardekho8 жыл бұрын
Regular road tyres are ideal for our type of road conditions but if you also take it off roads then you have a few options of on-off road tyres.
@richardmann8008 жыл бұрын
for the road I love the michelin road pilot 4's , versys arent dirt bikes and are limited to graded gravel roads but for everything from all daylong touring , canyon carving or just running to the store it is great . my 2011 has 35,ooo miles and runs like new.

is versys good for a 5'5'' height person?
@cardekho8 жыл бұрын
@Frederick Keff Van Buten Versys 650 is quite tall. For a person who is 5.5, it will be difficult. Moreover, we also suggest to take a test ride to know more about the comfort and ride & handling characteristics of the bike.
@Al.j.Vasquez7 жыл бұрын
Frederick Keff Van Buten 5.5" is short for any bike that's not a cafe racer or under 150cc, but don't let that to discourage you from trying it, if you can ask for a demo ride, go for it. the main concern for a small person it would be its weight, just in case that u need to pick the bike up.
@OnlyKaerius7 жыл бұрын
+Khotta Bogard there's always the Custom market, the Kawazaki Vulcan S has a super low seat, someone who's 5' nothing could ride it. As for Frederick's question: I'm 5'7" and I had to buy the low gel saddle to truly comfortably control it at stops, and I was on my tippy toes with the standard saddle and I'm only just getting my front pads to touch the ground with the low saddle, at the lowest shock preload setting. You might be ok if you've got great balance and spring for the low seat, but you may need to get an actual lowering kit, which is more invasive to install and probably will involve paying a mechanic to do it. (The saddle is a minute's job with no tools)
@Al.j.Vasquez7 жыл бұрын
***** not really, it's not always the same market for every country, sometimes the bike you like or want, doesn't fit you, and they sell nothing similar in your country as an option, in Costa Rica, they don't sell the one you spoke about. Also, that's a cruiser, not a tourer, they are completely different bikes.
@OnlyKaerius7 жыл бұрын
+Khotta Bogard Yeah I did say the Custom market. It's a factory "Custom" bike, but set the pegs right and get the optional windscreen and it's a comfortable tourer for short people. If you're short, you can't ride most dual-sport/adventure bikes, because they're tall. Heck the Versys isn't nearly as tall as some of the others, like BMW1200GS, but it's still a pretty tall bike. Even a Ninja 650 is 2 inches shorter(than the Versys 650) in seat height.

At least they got rid of that ridiculously ugly front fairing.
