Couldn’t get these in the US, so I went with ASV levers which are US made. Love the shorty style, much easier to pull the clutch with 2 fingers since it’s a crazy light pull. Cheers!

Thank you for making this seemingly overwhelming task so simple and approachable for me! I was intimidated but your videos help give me confidence to work on this little machine myself and I enjoy it so much more that way. Cheers from the Pacific Northwest, USA!

507 Subscribers Dodger! Next target 1000. It will snowball once you get rolling. Changing the levers may seem dead easy to many of us. But there's also a lot of people who will watch this vlog & gain the confidence to do this themselves. Good & simple explanations...

mezzler1 Thanks mate! It's an easy job, the clutch side is a little bit more involved due to the cable otherwise easy. Understanding how it all works helps.

Man, do they these lever's in long style, I like to use all my fingers !
@DodgerMohr3 жыл бұрын
They only come as short levers, I have seen them a bit longer than these but can’t remember where. Still need 2 to 3 fingers to operate the. Clutch & brake.

I really need to go to the shorter levers for my cbr buddy, nicely done 😃👍

Looks much easier than I expected. Getting fed up of crushing my fingers on the clutch hand so might give this a go.
@DodgerMohr4 жыл бұрын
Ian Wheldale It’s not a hard job to do yourself. The clutch lever takes more time due to the cable.

During my motorcycle class refresher course our instructor said he would fail us if we did not have all fingers on the clutch or brake. He would have flunked you for using only two.
@DodgerMohr Жыл бұрын
I agree you should use all fingers on the clutch plus front brake lever. The reason being you don’t jam your fingers between lever & hand grip with the original levers. Having short lever’s eliminate finger jam. Anyway the main reason for the short levers was accommodate barkbusters wasn’t sure if the original levers had enough clearance. Plus on my rides I use most fingers.

@@DodgerMohr I am actually going to look into getting the short ones for mine also so I can fit the bark busters on

Hi Dodger, just a quick question, there are two models of that lever, the shorty and the standar that also can extend, i was scared the shorty of being too short, but if I am not wrong yours is the shorty and looks just fine! not too short, can you please confirm that yours is the shorty version? looks like its is, but just wantes to make sure. thanks and good job!!!
@DodgerMohr4 жыл бұрын
Agustin Morquecho They are the short ones. 2 to 3 fingers size depending on the size of your fingers. I love these levers especially the clutch side.

@@DodgerMohr Thanks for reply. I have done 200km since yesterday, and while the original levers are ok, the friction zone is a bit too far out for my hands, so i would like to replace to some adjustable levers. thanks a lot
@FaithPurposeReason4 жыл бұрын
@@agustinmorquecho7781 Friction zone can be adjusted without changing levers, adjustable levers help change the reach.

Sorry this is off topic but for the life of me I cannot find the Vin number(s) illustrated in the user's manual of my x300. Can you help?
@DodgerMohr2 жыл бұрын
Vin number should be located left hand side of the steering head frame. Little bit hard to see & read.

Do you know where the levers are made ?
@DodgerMohr Жыл бұрын
Not to sure, most likely China. I purchased them through ‘Radguard’ after reading specs. Thanks
