I have done all maintenence that you have provided with ur channel Great work, only thing I have left untill spring is change brakefluid for the brakes could you do a video of that one, is it the same as the clutch oil change? Btw could you att in The descriptions what oil you use and for example what nm torque u used for the Bolt, sometimes its hard to understand or hear, keep the good work up🚀

Thanks glad I could help. Yep I have a video in the works for a brake fluid change. Should be up in a few weeks, however it is the exact same process as the clutch fluid change. Yep sure thing when I get a minute I will add that to the description of the videos and will do so going forward

Thanks. You are making my life so much easier un less stressful 😁 I'm making a bike stand myself. All improvised and homemade. Hope it'll work. Are you planning to change fork oil and seals by any chance? 🤔 😇
@MOTODANS

No worries, hopefully the stand works out 👍 Not at the moment but then again I said that when you asked if I was taking the wheel off 🤣

No longer have the bike but the rear of my lift sat on 2 small tabs that stuck out below the frame and the front sat on the engine. I had to put bike on 2 bits of wood to get high enough for jack to slide under

Hey Dan, when you jack your bike up is the lift pushing up on the oil pan or the frame? I have a similar lift and I put some pieces of wood running alongside the frame underneath it as otherwise on my bike all the force would've gone on the pan and I wasnt sure if it likes that, but life sure would be easier if I could just jack it up straight away
@MOTODANS
@MOTODANS 2 жыл бұрын
The rear of the jack sits on the frame. There are 2 wee tabs that sit down lower than the pan. And the front just sits on the pan. Don't really see any issues there you are spreading the weight out over the whole width of the pan. I need to roll the bike up on some 12mm bits of wood to get it high enough to slide my jack under also

@@MOTODANS Allright nice, thanks. Thinking about it, it makes sense that most of the weight would go on the tabs on the rear as you said, as that should be much closer to the center of balance. Good to know that youve been fine lifting it up like that, cause playing with those blocks of wood was a pain!

Another good video. Nothing like fresh rubber. I can almost smell it from here lol. What brand and size tyre did you use?
@MOTODANS
@MOTODANS 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dillon. Had a Bridgestone Exedra on which I only got 5000kms on so I went with a cheaper tyre a shinko 008 in stock size 170-60-17. Hoping it will last a bit longer than the Bridgestone and when the front gets down will replace them as a set possibly try the michilen commander or pilot roads

Fine no problems at all. Good value for money. I did around 4000kms on it before I sold the bike and it was wearing well
