Kawasaki Voyager VN1700 "Saddle Bag Knobs" instead of bolts, hardware replacement / upgrade.

I was getting tired of always having to bring out the 10mm socket to remove my saddle bags, especially when washing my bike. Also, I thought, what if I needed to take them off in an emergency on the road, say, for a flat tire?
I saw that Harley and Indian have knobs or hardware that allows you to remove the bags without having to use tools so I went on the hunt for replacement hardware. What I found were these knobs to replace the bolts holding the bags on the bike. Now, in a pinch, I can easily remove the bags and make washing my bike a lot easier and more convenient.

@@tanktankerson1042 Here’s another question Tank. I currently have V&H slip ons and they are just a bit too loud for my taste. I found a set of original slip-ons that I’m going to try out. I have a big air kit from Chuckster’s along with the K&N performance air filter. I’ll be getting Ivan’s flash in Sep and hoping he has a tune for just a stock exhaust (not after market) and a BAK. I’m hoping that the stock vs aftermarket slip-ons don’t make much of a difference in the performance or the effectiveness of his flash and plan on asking him before I do it. Any thoughts?

I watched it! Great job as always! I’ve considered in the past doing the “cover ups” for the mirrors because everything is so flat on the fj. I like the look of these and the ease especially! I have new wheels and tires coming soon, but after that i may look into these and covers for door handles, turn signals and some headlight guards. Thanks again Tank!!!
