Love that bevel drive engine. It reminds of older Ducati's with their bevel drive desmo engines. This bike looks nice but I would prefer the chromed version which is more like what they were like in the 60's. I which they would sell this bike in Canada.

The Kawasaki W1 referred to was, I believe, the company’s first attempt at producing a large capacity motorcycle. It was closely based on BSA’s Golden Flash 650 and made under license. CYCLE magazine described the W1 as basically a BSA which kept on running; _which was not quite the virtue it might at first seem._ The BSA’s regular break-downs allowing its rider some relief from the motor’s massive vibration. PS: IMHO the W800 is the most honest 'retro'.

Love the sound of a parallel twin, however, this needs an aftermarket exhaust for my liking as its way too muffled in stock form. These modern retro bikes definitely seem to be taking up a huge section of the market at the minute :D
