Get the Z300, immediately upgrade the tires to something like the Michelin Pilot Road 4 and you'll be happy. Put on a yoshimura exhaust slip-on if you still have some money left. Still no gear indicator though lol.

The gear indicator is a nice feature to have but not necessary. I am an old rider and back then, your ears will tell you when to change gears based on engine sound and experience.

Got one on Tuesday for my 21st. Waiting till tomorrow to get it back because. Got it straight out the factory. Hasn’t been driven at all yet. Still brand spanking new

Sam I’m fine after long rides. I only get a cramp in my left shoulder because I have a bad habit of putting weight on my left side. I’d say the only thing is your arse being sore after really long rides but that’s only if I go on day trips and I’m on the road all day

No gear indicator so I brought a Mt 03 that has one have got a versys 300 x that is great and it's got a gear indicator why not on the z 300

Emm... in my opinion narrator could talk more slowly and clearly, whats the rush? Point is there are lot of us which don't understand english much, and also want to enjoy sound of bike. However, thanks for review

gee-whizz, these bikes are CHEAPER than a GPZ 500 20 years ago, yes they have fewer horses but in terms of fun, quality and safety they're in a totally different universe. Modern bikers are soo lucky!

It might have premium parts but also some gimmicks, for example the illuminated switches ..i mean really? who does goes to see were is the indicator switch when he or she is riding? its just another thing that can go wrong. it has a color tft yes, maybe much nicer but also lots of issues with them with water ingress. premium parts without good reliability don't mean nothing.

The Duke 390 would be it’s equal not the RC390. The Ninja is the RC equivalent.

Just go to the dealership and grab a new Kawasaki z300 it will have better resale than the KTM 390 and in my opinion on the open road with the Kawasaki redlining at 13k it will easily start overtaking the duke 390! I’ve tested both but ended up getting a benelli 600i. For the same money as these I get an in-line 4 cylinder 600cc. Buy with a brain not with a heart. After all it’s what the bike will be used for that matters PERIOD
