Learn to know the difference between an ownership review and a Standard review. Ride height won't really matter. I have had friends who are 5'3 and tip toe on this bike. A "review" need not have such details, makes it less relevant. And boy, whats with the "so called pros" thing? I don't reckon PD guys call themselves pros (psst, might be the haters who resort to name calling). Peace
@ambig18 жыл бұрын
well i think agents at PD team are busy sending their trolls here to poke at a feedback given to them on another channel. someone who is open to improve takes constructive criticism but someone who has too much ego and insecure tries to offend the critic , just like you are doing. Someone doesnt have to announce their title always if they are already portraying their title by other means, ex: a cop dressed as a cop coming in a police van doesnt have to announce that he is a cop, one can see and understand. PD team often projects itself as professional reviewers with their dress, attire, review , events etc., so yes they do claim themselves as pros. one need a reason to hate and since i am not a competitor to the PD or this channel i have no reason to hate them, may be you are just a butthurt fanboy of PD or their foot soldier who believe that there are no areas of improvement and you guys are perfect. only someone who cares gives feedback or critics or offers suggestion, if someone doesnt care about you (PD) then they just keep quiet to whatever that they do and just move on to some other channel. PD is relying too much now on music, theatrics, raising the pitch/tempo of their narrator's voices during editing etc., but that can only get them so far. btw there is no rulebook which says only a ownership review should contain the seat height and a standard review shouldnt. tip toeing is not the same as sitting on it comfortably. You can ride a car with your legs if you want but that doesnt mean it is the most efficient way.
@TheTwinPost8 жыл бұрын
+Gajendra Ambi A valid point indeed.... rider height requirements for a particular bike plays a big role in shortlisting the bike one ends up getting.
@sickmyduckhard8 жыл бұрын
Gajendra Ambi Maybe, give it a thought and do read my comment again. I dont know why you are really mentioning about when you say PD trolls. I simply asked you a question when PD is referred to out of context. Offending critic? Ride height is an important factor, but not too important to be considered for a review factor. I agree, PD is dramatising everything, well, good for them then, each one its own. But we as a "mature" customer/viewer should bear credibility on our critic status instead of name calling the reviewer. No rulebook says what an ownership review should and should not contain. But hey, no rulebook says a review should contain seat height either. So your argument contradicts your own statements here. From what I gather from this convo thread, a review should contain facts that matter to each one's tastes (ride height, headlight beam distance, break oil capacity, Number of leds in the tail light, footpeg distance, spokes in the tires, quality of stock rims, Mirror vibration limits etc) And if someone reviewer doesn't mention all these, they are termed as "so called pros". I am done with this convo. Have a nice day ahead.

Great bike. I'm looking to buy a used Z800. Test rode a bike.. but on straight line acceleration I find the bike pulling to the left? Wt cd it be? Any suggestions, thanks.

i bought Z800 at the end of 2016. My bike started making a noise that sounds like 'riiiiiii' which is annoying. I informed about this to the service centre when i took my bike for first servicing at 1000 km. However, they could not fix the problem. When the bike is in neutral, the engine sound is normal. However when the bike starts running with clutch released, the noise starts coming. However if i pulled the clutch while the bike is running..that annoying sound disappears. Annoyed by this sound i took my bike for check up before the second servicing. The mechanics took my bike around and said that the bike sound is normal and he does not hear any sound that i described to him. He instead suggested to buy the chain spray thinking that the sound is coming the chain. I applied the chain spray but the noise is still coming. Is it something serious that i need to be concerned about?

Weight while stopped, and seat height... letting me decide against this bike. took test ride of cbr650f and found it to be more livable with in everyday life, though not as smooth and powerful as Z800 but a better package if you like touring more than short weekend rides or track days... Rest its all upon individual rider, what he/she likes... coz unlike cars buying a superbike is a matter of HEART.
@hemin0038 жыл бұрын
My 2 cents on this ... Seat height : You may wanna look at lowering kits on offer from Lux Racing UK. Weight : This is something which you won't feel once you have lowering kit. 650f is a good bike, would advise you to take a longer test drive and see how the heat dissipation happens on the bike. Honda's are well known for the heat that they generate, this will kill your city rides. Kawasaki on the other hand have awesome heat dissipation on their bikes. Ergo : Yes, 650f scores marginally above this bike. Complete package : Z scores over the 650f any-day in terms of the bells n whistles that you get.
@Vickyrocks2478 жыл бұрын
+Hemin Sebastian I agree Z offers more value for money, But my city riding is Zero! I use bike only for touring and thats mainly on Highways and good roads of uttrakhand. And I am using CBR250R right now for two years and did lot of touring, And I am completely satisfied with it, CBR650F is ergonomically 100% same to 250R... I felt i am riding my CBR250R but with more power and smoothness and good brakes too.... For a lean guy like me its really a headache to manage weight of Z800 and spending on lowering kits doesn't make any sense. I also like to mention the Honda patent riding position which was firstused un cbr250r and now same on 650f...It distributes body weight equally on Wrist, legs and back.... deapite of Z which puts most weight on back as an upright position... this riding position along with optimum cushioned seat is the secret of long ride comfort of cbr250r and now on 650f. You can say I am being conservative, having used Honda bike for that long and too without any problem, its hard for me to ignore cbr650f. While riding Z on test ride I was not able to connect with the bike as well as i did with cbr650f... and as I said its a matter of heart sometimes. :-) cheers mate.

+Dr. ShivAditya Sharma As long as you're happy with what you get for yourself ✌🏽️Looking forward to your upgrade to the 650F

Kawasaki just revealed new ninja 650. I think the sitting position would be similar to that of cbr 650f since it is a sports tourer. Ninja would also be lighter than cbr and might cost less. The only down side I can think of right now is Ninja is a twin cylinder, where as cbr is 4.

The hooligan Rider well FYi, the inline four share the same crankshaft, cylinder block, require ignition system must fire spark plug for every 180 degrees of crank rotation, hence linear power delivery and no lags theoretically ;) However, this engine has single exhaust for the 4 cylinders and therefore the firing order matters! @hemin0037 жыл бұрын
shiwadaay07 Age doesn't matter. It's about the physical fitness level of the individual. This ain't a typical laid back bike, can surprise with the twist of the throttle. I have friends in that age group who ride supersports like R1,zx10r etc. I hope I answered your question !

shiwadaay07 start with 600 cc and than graduate to 1000cc leader bike . here I m assuming that you rode some sort bike in the past
@jbosco39706 жыл бұрын
No. Age does not matter - skill level does. If you can ride a Bullet very comfortably then you ll be ok with Z800 or a Z1000. If not then maybe you can start with a Z250L or a Z300. The jump from a commuter bike to a litre bike is massive. Let me give you an analogy - a Z1000 is like the Mercedes S class - rarely a first car. Don't underestimate the skill required to ride a big bike. KZbin videos make it look easy.
@zainbunga30023 жыл бұрын
@@jbosco3970 the analogy you gave is wrong. That mercedes is known for comfort and luxury, not for requiring skills or efforts. You must have taken mercedes AMG GT to prove your point.
