If I do end up with a ZX9R I am 100% copying this and I’m not ashamed of it. Lol. It’s such a clean look. Currently have a CBR600F4 but this looks great. I used to hate dealing with carbs but they grown on me as more electrics have crept in the industry.

27,000 miles on my 9r and just finished 2 track days 👍🏻. Compression tested fine at 210-220 psi across all cylinders. Original clutch that I’ll probably replace this coming off season. My bet is that it’ll be the transmission that takes a kick before the engine itself. No spare engines in my garage. LOL

Only got them coz I seen an engine with 9k for £200 he just wanted it gone had the clocks and logbook with it and pictures I couldn’t say no lol. Then I seen that blue one last year up for sale for £800 it was a Streetfighter put the fairing off my track bike on it now am keeping it for parts as you know we need them for track day. The engine am rebuilding come with the Streetfighter so iv striped it for fun got a z1000 gearbox to put in it as well :-)

@@johnshomegarage7828 Nice! One of the things my riding instructors told me is that you’ve really gotta muscle these bikes to get them to behave. Helped a ton. As you know, they are the most nimble out there. Hahaha

@@johnshomegarage7828 based on my location of course… castrol raceway in Edmonton Canada. :). It’s a low 1:20s lap for experts on unlimited class bikes and mid-high 1:20s for super sports. I’d be lucky to be with 10-15 seconds of those guys.

Hi mate im having an issue with taking my downpipes off the bolt is bringing the stud out with it and feels like its stopping half way but it is still connected to the midpipe should i disconnect it from the mid pipe now in hopes its already to come off?
