In this video I review the Kaweco Sport AL which I have equipped with a lovely and affordable steel semi-flex nib from FPnibs.com, a Spanish company specializing in a large variety of nib grinds including flex.
This video also briefly touches on a few other topics:
1. How to reseal ink cartridges using a glue gun, a method I saw on FPphysicist.com.
2. How to hack a plastic feed to work better with flex pens. I have an in-depth video on this process here: • An Easy Hack For Plast...
3. I show you a neat little 2mm clutch pencil that I like to pair with my Kaweco AL: the KAweco Special Mini.
4. I show a neat little case where I keep the Kaweco Sport and the Kaweco Special Mini, which can also hold a few other supplies, like a cartridge or two a Kaweco Liliput, a little eraser holder made by Slendy, or even a compact water brush made by Kaweco. This is a well made compact little case that as of late has become an everyday carry portable sketching kit.
5. Show you my new 4-part standardized and super scientific test that I will be subjecting all my pens to going forward. I believe these test will be easier for artist's to understand and relate to and will help those looking for that perfect pen for drawing.
