Footwork fundamentals don't matter as much in today's game because traveling has become acceptable. It is really sad, but that is the truth of today's game. His footwork, like MJ's, Hakeem's, and Kobe's is amazing, but if players are allowed to take 3 steps to get separation or even just do a layup, then no one would even want to work on perfecting these types of moves anymore.
