@@BackpackingWithJason Nothing wrong with kayaks, I’ve owned a couple in the past. I’ve always been a canoe guy. , I find them way easier to get in and out of, and loading and unloading is way easier. That would be really fun if you could join us ! Cheers

That was an amazing spot for sunset. Boy the colors were remarkable. Fishy fingers 🤣🤣that dinner looked amazing it's great to have that fan too. I like the lake life. Heading to the sierra this weekend and backpacking to Garnet lake and thousand island lake plus Davis lakes cathedral lakes.. going from Agnew meadows to tuolumne meadows

I think you know where all the good spots are on that lake! HA HA! You are a man after my own heart with that fan! Don't laugh but I sleep with a fan app on my phone just for the fan noise when camping. Now I just need to figure out how to get the breeze from my phone. I sure need to get me one of those fans!

Oh my goodness I wish they had an app for the fan breeze to come out of the phone. That would be awesome. I love bringing that little fan. It runs on usb , no batteries. It’s so lightweight too.

I prefer paddling a solo canoe to carry the gear for me along the beautiful Missouri rivers and camping on the many gravel bars. That pork loin looked delicious. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. :)

A group of us hit the Green River outside of a Louisville for some kayak camping a few years back. It was a pretty good time. PFDs always, so thanks for helping to make it cool. Also…I’m getting one of them fans now…lol. I didn’t know I needed one until now.

I love Green River. Beautiful area. That little fan is awesome. Light weight and USB port. No batteries. Perfect for those hot summertime nights. I hang it right in my hammock or tent. Have a good weekend 👍🏻

That is an awesome camping spot on a beautiful lake. Fishing isn’t actually always about catching fish , it’s more about being out there enjoying Nature.. You caught a beautiful sunset and that’s good enough for me. Nice relaxing time out there Jason , I gotta get out and camp from my yak this Fall……and of course you was happy eating that good looking dinner. Cheers. Looks like a great time! I'm hoping to try kayak camping with some friends soon! If you come to Indiana check out lake Monroe. Beautiful campsites on the Lakeshore. You can also hike in on the peninsula trail and camp on the lake. Been a couple times and it's amazing!

Nothing beats sunset over the lake! I love lake life as well - boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, and just relaxing are some of our summertime favorites. I’ve done some Jon Boat camping in the past. Planning a kayak /canoe camping trip in the fall. Enjoyed watching. Lake Cumberland looks beautiful

I agree. I need to do more of that area. I grew up in Floyd Co. stayed on the Big Sandy River everyday. My roots are eastern Kentucky but I live in Lexington nowadays. Never lost my Floyd Co accent though 😂😂

Beautiful camping spot, A little advice. You actually want the water to be a little wavy so the fish don't see you, Sounds weird but it makes a big difference. someone told us this and we tried and both ways and it truly works, don't need to be heavy just ripples or small waves. hope this helps next time. what a beautiful sunset nd sunrise. Love the lake life , come up here to Ely Nevada and lets go fishing together.
