Kayaking and duckying the Lower Blue River below Green Mountain Reservoir in Heeney, CO to Spring Creek Road. Class II to II+. Running about 500 cfs here and runnable down to a bumpy 350 cfs. The Blue River is a tributary of the Colorado River, approximately 65 miles long, in the U.S. state of Colorado. It rises in southern Summit County, on the western side of the continental divide in the Ten Mile Range, near Breckenridge, CO. It flows into Dillon Reservoir where it joins the Ten Mile river from Frisco, CO and Snake river from Keystone, CO. It then flows north to Green Mtn. Reservoir in Heeney, CO. This video is of the last section through the only canyon before the Blue River joins the Colorado River near Kremmling, CO.
