Church? 😂 I was waiting for that one! Poor old Bickford Institute. It was built as a place for learning, but now is used by the town Council. At one point it was the local billiards hall. Love Porthleven, it's been years since I last took my kayak out from there! Nice video 👍🏻

great video & cracking Bass (well done) Can I ask do you dismantle your balloon wheels before you secure them to the rear?

@FishingWithJay04 Hi, thanks for watching. I leave the wheels on the ctug. The rails fit underneath the bungee cords in the rear storage area and they hold the ctug in really tightly.

What do you use to check the swell ?

@kev174 Hi, I use an app called surfline - used to be called magic seaweed. Pretty good for swell size and interval, not so good for wind speed. You also ha e to take local geography into account as i dont think the app can properly compensate for that.

@kayak_fishing_Cornwall I used to have magic seaweed, then it changed and lost me 😆 ill give surf line another look. Had my eye on Porthleven for a while. Worth the trip ? I've not been out since I saw you at marazion

@kev174 i know what you mean but surfline is ok to use, much the same as ms. Yeah, ive only fished it twice but i think theres a good potential down there, lots of reef not far from the harbour and sandy areas if you want to change it up. Ill be there again soon but there a couple of places i want to try before going back to porthleven.

@serafinflorendo3893 Hi, that is a matter of opinion. I like it, I prefer it to bass so in my opinion yes its a good eating fish.
