Awesome. Glad to hear that. I am not very familiar with the water down in that part of the state. I know the huron river is good smallmouth fishing so I bet there are pike in there. The grand river and most tributaries of it have good pike fishing.

Tributary of the Grand River! The Grand and most water connected to it have pike. 👍

I'm thinking of buying a kayak and taking my 8 year old son fishing any recommendations where I can take him, I'm completely new to fishing but my son loves it.

I would reccomend a small lake or very slow river if it's your first time kayaking.
