Kayak fishing for shad and fishing for catfish - Catfishing with shad - catch shad with lures

Fishing for shad with lures with my son. We were kayak fishing for shad and fishing for catfish. Caught plenty of nice fish and had a great time fishing. Hickory shad make great catfish bait but they aren't legal to use for bait in my area.
