I'm glad to see you getting on a few smallies. The creeks down here in NW AL have been blown out for the last few weekends so im still waiting for some stable weather for them to go back down. The bad storms Friday night completely flooded them again. Im just glad I didn't have any damage at my house. 👊👍

Bought three Money Badger lures this week, then the rain came and shut me down. Also armed myself with some North Branch Tackle sled jigs for my Nikko baits. That first smallie was a beauty! Thanx for taking us with you. Needed some action, even if it is on KZbin. TLF

Right perfect air temps and we get 3 inches of rain… so annoyed with this inconsistent weather. That’s why I have made it a point to drag my kayak or wade fish whenever conditions are fishable no matter the water or air temps.

Yea tell me about the water level. I’m in Toledo I’ll be down fishing by you in July. Right now the walleye are spawning in the maumee river by me. River is completely blown out today. Normal level is 582 it’s currently at 587 and moving fast.

What's your thoughts on the evergreen spinning rod for ned rigs? Just right or go with a lighter rod?

I love this rod but one thing to keep in mind are the micro guides. They will eventually wear down your leader knot so be vigilant with it. But I absolutely love this thing

Whip out the old google maps and just start following it. I take scouting trips in my car and just look for bank access that’s on public land. There is plenty of access points along the Hocking. You just gotta put some footwork and mileage in.
