I fish stripers off that Island so much with my dad that I can recognize some of those rocks. lol We used to try and anchor as close to the shoreline as possible with our 20 foot Grady White, but boy there are some scary big boulders up close to that Island! That's one thing nice about your Kayaks you can weave through those big rocks and don't have to worry so much! But I would imagine it would have to be a calm day. Sometimes it can get a little nasty on that side of the island.
