I was BFS fishing this spring using 6lb outfit and you would not believe what i landed! I pull up a 10lb catfish with a small jig use for crappie fishing. That was a hell of a fight that i will not forget for a long long time.

It was on this particular trip i when fishing with my oldman. We accidentally found the honey hole of giants crappies. We end up catching our limit full of giants crappie fir dinner. A few years has pass by and that remains my best crappie fishing ever.

So it all started in 2009 when I moved back to Florida. I put out my line and waited, and waited. 3 years later i changed up what I was doing “maybe it’s my form” , “maybe it’s just me and I’m unlucky”. Extremely new to this, so I was out of my comfort zone. I mean I was really confident in what I was doing for the last 3 years with no success. So I change the bait and form and within a couple months had some bites. I did that without any actual success just the chance of success for 3 more years it’s now the end of 2014 and I thought “it’s definitely gotta be my luck”, “or I just don’t know how to do this”, so I changed everything again it finally took the bait and ran. We’ve been together since early 2015 and married for going on 3 years now and I haven’t been happier! 😊

Merry Christmas 🎄 My best catch is definitely the time I hook up that big tarpon. That was the most spectacular hook up in my fishing career. It took a long run and jump up the water like a wild monkey. Will describe it as crazy!

Back in the early '90s, I took my Mom to a fishing derby up here in Chicago on the river that the Mayor was having. First place was a new pickup, second was a new Harley, and third was a free all expenses night at the Hyatt. They dumped a bunch of tagged fish in the river, and each tag number represented a prize. So many people showed up it was hard to find a spot. We walked up to one of the bridges where there was a guy under the bridge and another guy about 30 feet from the bridge and started to cast out even with the bridge. The guy under the bridge started getting mad and said he was fishing there and casted over my line. I said I just want to spend a couple hrs fishing with my Mom, he didn't care. So I said fine, I wont cast out, I will just drop my line in. He said no. I said you don't own this spot and dropped my line. About 5 seconds later my line shot down and under the wall. I set the hook. The grumpy guy wouldn't let me use his net, so some guy about 50 feet away came running over with his net and pulled my fish up. 2 1/2 lb bass, my PB. Next thing I know a couple of guys come over and open their folder to check the number on the tag, free all expenses night at the Hyatt. Grumpy guy was yelling "That's my fish, that is my fish.". Nobody got the pickup or the Harley. Sad part of the story, I still have not been able to break that PB bass!!! Shared on FB.

My favorite catch is a channel catfish that i hook up on the jetty. I have no way to land it since it's a big fish and not net couple with the height of the dock, i have to fight and drag it all the way to the bank.
