That is a great mangrove spot. I’ve caught 18” mangroves there often. There is also some good groupers (black and gag) there. Both sides of that bridge there are 20-25ft holes and a lot of structure under the bridge.

I've landed a few decent sheeps under that little bridge too, and north on that creek I've caught some nice flounder. This was one of my favorite spots in Saint Augustine. I miss it but thanks for posting the videos!

Me and my buddy are coming to st Augustine this coming week to fish. We are from North Alabama and was wanting to see if you can give me some tips on places to stay that's not going to break the bank and good places to fish from the bank. Thanks

I don’t have any great hotel suggestions since I live here I never get accommodations, sorry. If you are fishing g from shore you can try these spots. Under Beach Blvd bridge, if you search Jacksonville Freedom Boat Club it’s right there. Mangrove Snapper for sure and maybe some other species. If you go down to Mantanzas I let you can find several places to park and fish. Many people fish from the Mantanzas bridge but I’ve never done that. Also, the Jacksonville pier is hit or miss but easy to do. Tight lines!

Just before the Vilano boat ramp on your right is a spot to park and launch. Right after the small bridge.
