I know right...I really didn't expect to catch anything let alone a pretty decent Pike. Yes...the yak has been an awesome experience and I'm loving it. 😎 I got it November 2022 and had to wait all winter to get it on the water and I couldn't wait...so I know how you're feeling right now 😥. Hope you're back on the water sooner than you think. 🙂 Happy New Year to you too from the middle part of the State!!!

I have...although it was several years ago. My Dad brought his Bass boat. We had so-so luck but I have thought about returning in the kayak. I don't remember but I thought it might be a no wake lake (which is nice for us kayak fishing people 😎). Thanks for the comment...appreciate it!

@@FishingAroundFenton I have shore fished their many times when I was a kid and twice from a kayak: lots of big pike over 30 inches and a mix of smallies and largemouth.

Awesome! There's a lake closer to me that is the same...Lake Ponemah. Several Bass tournaments there during the summer. There's Pike, Large & Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Crappy, etc. 👍
