Suggestion to all kayakers, the UK seas are not the most friendly, try outriggers to stabilise the boat, they get in the way a bit but provide the stability you need, Polynesians used them for thousands of years to cross oceans.

Well done on righting the yak and self rescuing, it's not always easy and there's plenty who would struggle. Don't let it put you off, make up some rod leashes as well ;)
