@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish They did not. I went on the intercoastal but and no luck, I believe the tide was a bit high.

Your weren’t kidding when you told me about all that structure! I bet that’s a great area when spawning time comes around

Looks like there would be sheepshead everywhere in there but worked a lot of spots with not a lot of success in there.

@@GetOutTheHouseGoFish Jaxkayak fishing forum told me to stay away from trout river. They said it was a hit or miss type of place.

Alex Man Matt fishes it all the time so I am going by what I see him and others catching in that area when they have posted in the FB groups 👍🎣 Thanks for watching 😃

Just my luck with the toad fish 😄 I thought for sure there would be more sheepshead in there. Thanks for watching.

At least you were out on the water and did manage a speckled for dinner. Tidal flow looked like it might have been weak, possibly affecting the bite. My last three trips have produced only one take home fish. I forgot the video gear on one of those three and we managed to catch a tarpon (leader catch) that I didn't get to video - go figure. Better luck out there next time.

The current did pick up in there; got so fast and rough it was like a washing machine in there. I was glad to catch a keeper. I’m gonna keep trying for those sheep’s Thanks Jim 🙂

Main street bridge is notorious for toad fish. I've never heard of sheep head caught at that bridge. My dad and I used to fish the from the Trout River , Lem Turner Rd bridge and tear up the speckled trout and occasional red.

It’s a cool area to fish; by the looks of all the barnacles you would think there would be a lot of sheepshead in there. Matt only caught one keeper that day. Thanks for watching 👍

It’s been a few years since I filmed this but I was using Sandfleas’s. I was new to sheepshead fishing so I definitely need to revisit this area one day.
