Thanks mate. glad you enjoyed it. Yeah lure fishing for wrasse is a “thing” weedless lures literally tapped on the bottom does the job. Had stacks last year, not so many this year.

Launch from the car park at the harbour and turn left basically. You can’t go wrong really. All of that ground up to sea houses produces fish. Glad you enjoyed the vid! 👍

Another belter vid mate.Best on KZbin for Yak vids in my opinion. Informative and very well put together. Can i ask what rod and reel your using and if that set up would be o-k to use on sib when fishing ? Would love to meet up if possible and get some advice.tips and guidance from you on all fishing matters for when i go out on sib up Northumberland way if you'd be o-k with that ? Just let me know if that's possible as you definitely know the ropes when it comes to fishing and i be really grateful if you'd consider helping me out with advice etc. 10/10 and best on KZbin. Thanks very much I’m glad you’re enjoying the channel. Here’s my setup Daiwa Ninja 2500 Fixed Spool Reel Daiwa J Braid x8 13lb Mainline Rovex Integra Gold 8-14lb Rod Weedless minnows. I know nothing about fishing from a sib I’m afraid so I’d suggest you join anglers afloat on Facebook as there are loads of local lads on there with sibs. A very friendly bunch. Just let people know when you’re going out and there’s always someone to hook up with. Any questions just ask Tight lines matey 👍🎣🎣

Thanks David. Any of the weedless ones are good, I usually just search “weedless minnows” and buy whatever is cheap and has good reviews. They’re quite often the same make but with just a different branding. The reviews are the key 👍

Hi Christopher, I like it a lot. It's very stable, not the fastest but not the slowest either. I've been out in some testing conditions in both this and my previous sturgeon- they both handle it very well.

Some nice fish there Chris, can you you tell me how you keep your feet dry and warm? Do you jig your lures or do you keep them stationary and wait for the bend. Cheers.

Hi mate, I’m wearing a drysuit which has dry socks attached so the water never touches my feet. It’s sealed at the neck and cuffs as well so even if I go in only my face and hands would get wet. I just layer up underneath according to the conditions. I like to tap my lures on the sea bed, retrieve a bit maybe drop them back down etc 👍🎣

Great video again! I'm about 90% tempted to pick up one of these new galaxy mk2's but i've heard mixed views because of the material they're made of. Having had yours for a while, how do you feel about it. All positive? Any negatives?

I had a MK II standard sturgeon before this and I absolutely loved it which is why I bought the FX. It’s not a Hobie but it’s also not £4000. I had an issue with a pedal and 2 new pedals arrived within 24 hours of speaking to them. The customer service is very very good. There’s a MKII FX now I assume that’s the one you’re considering? I really like mine. 👍

I use a Rovex integra gold 6ft 8-14lb and a Yagi Spin 7ft 20-40g. It needs to be long enough to get round the bow but no longer than that so it’s easy to manage. 6ft is just about right in my opinion 👍

Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it. It was a drogue, you need to be drifting when you lure fishing really (in my opinion) so no need to anchor up. 👍
