Update Do Not Put Out Trot Lines Where Justin fishes! I’ve been there and yeah it can make a man super mad! But you hung in there and were rewarded with a Sumo Cat! Those trot lines are most likely there to get paylake fish to bring north. They have ruined the Ohio river and moved south to ruin the Tennessee river now.

I hooked a small smallmouth bass and while reeling him in, here comes hurridly about a 6LB largemouth that hit him violently like a minnow. Water was clear. Amazing to see it first time. Surprised a large bass would hit a juvenile bass. Wish I had used a 10-0 circle hook so I could have been able to be have caught the largemouth bass too.

You, Dieter, and a few others I watch seem to identify Channel versus blue from 30 ft away. I thought channels and Blues look so similar I usually have to count the spines on the fin to figure out which is which. Love your videos sir. Tight lines to everyone... except trotliners. 😀

Haha,I use to trout line in no deeper then 5 to 20 feet starting at 5. I gotta question "where are the markers at level or floaties" I guess just a grap hook on wench. Is that kosher

There weren’t any markers or floats. I imagine it was probably marked with gps to help hide it since it was probably someone who sells to pay lakes that set it.

Can't help myself but would love to see you battle some monsters on lighter weight tackle. You are too good with the heavy stuff. The fish are 0 and 1000 for win losses against the heavy tackle. Would love to see you fight the fish vs horse it in at least now and then to see more of your angling skills with lighter tackle.
