Excellent example of when NOT to throw a rope.

Agreed. dude did say yes to it. But I agree shouldn’t have been thrown that early on a hole that will likely spit out

I was the rope thrower. In a normal situation yea I was way early with the throw, but we were really concerned about that tree on the left, it had real snag potential to it. I wouldn't have even been remotely worried had the tree not been there.

@@ozarkdave Yeah, that tree looks pretty ugly. The situation never looks quite the same in a video. If I was stuck in that hole, I would have wanted you to do exactly what you did.

Funny you commented, I believe I watched the one you’re referring to on the front range FB group or one of those FB groups… I was videoing, this was not me, but I’m sure it will be soon enough! Always good to be humbled… “everyone is in between swims.” Maybe I’ll see you out there one day!

Yeah, not a lot of people admit swimming, but it happens a lot. I’m glad your bud is ok. My swim, well, it’s my favorite section of clear creek, also a meat grinder. It really hurt, and paid for lack of speed. I teach newer boaters speed is your friend, because it is. Anyways, good to just have lighthearted fun watch non-consequential swims.
