Kayaker Backyards EP.3: San Francisco - Kayak Hipster

Before making our way up to Mendocino, Chris, Matt and I had the opportunity to spend the morning paddling with Bill and Sean in San Francisco. They took us to some local play spots, and had a blast exploring caves, and playing in rocks.

How was the challenge of getting comfortable enough in the rock gardens to set up shots? Would you play in them first to understand the water, and then find a parking spot?

Chris King exactly how it went. Discussed with Bill and Sean, learning tips on how to spot areas that would be calm even when the next wave came through, staying outside the bubbles, etc. And then taking a chance with the nice camera out...
