Thank you for your Arizona kayaking vids, they're a real inspiration and so helpful in planning for my family. Would you consider doing a load out video? So far, we've only done some lake kayak camping, but I am starting to plan on doing the Marble Canyon trip. The backhaul guys have a weight restriction and beside that, I'd like to get the most efficient and lightest load out possible. Again, thanks for your vids and insight.

So happy to hear you’ve found value in the videos! I have considered doing a load out video and other videos on tips and tricks for packing, gear, etc. I’ll certainly consider it for future content. Thanks for the suggestion!

It's a pretty lake. We hiked around it last fall. We want to take our kayaks up there and try out some of the lakes in the area.

Is there anywhere in AZ where you can kayak in mid November?
@copperstarkayak80722 жыл бұрын
Yes! Any of our lower desert lakes are beautiful in mid nov. Especially canyon and saguaro. The boat traffic goes way down. It’s a little cool, but still low 80s so it’s feels great. The water in our lakes and rivers stays about mid to low 60s year round. Our mountain lakes are probably going to be a little too cold and might even be closed for the winter. The lower salt will be open but the water level will be really low unless you launch from phon d Sutton along the lower salt. The verde river flows into the lower salt at phon d year round so there should be plenty of water flow. Honestly November is one of my favorite times to be out on the water because crowds go way down after summer. Have fun!

how much is it to rent kayak?
@copperstarkayak8072 Жыл бұрын
I’ve seen rental fees usually around $75 for a tandem for one day. But it’s been a long time since I had to rent one so not sure on what shops are charging.

is the Gila trout different from the apache trout I remember hearing something about the apache trout being endangered
@copperstarkayak80722 жыл бұрын
They are different. Apache are smaller and were more common in warmer desert waters like the Salt River and Colorado.
