You could always get a 3 day fishing license for something to do. With where you're at and kayak rentals you should be able to catch a few different species as well as paying for your license by catching your dinner too. Plus all that would make for interesting video.

I have to check in to a park once a week for water and to dump tanks otherwise I'd keep doing what I'm doing now. Not sure why you think I don't boondock anymore. More fun to go canoeing on Russian River in Sonoma California, which you totally missed being in so much of a hurry to get to flat Florida. Watch out for the gators and pythons when your in the water down there. YIPES!

Eric when you get to Big Pine Key you can turn off on the right on and drive out 3 miles to No Name Key Pub on Watson Blvd that is famous with walls and ceiling covered with a million dollar bills!! Also visit nearby Blue Hole which has Key Deer and at least 3 alligators and big turtles at the viewing platform looking for a snack from you.

Free parking at Anne's beach, although you cannot stay overnight. You can rent a kayak and paddle to the reef. Law enforcement will not let you boondock anywhere down there, the further south you go, the more likely you will get hassled. You don't seemed too worried so you probably have a plan....
