Kayaking Italy. Beater on the Alpine Sprint section

In Italy 2018 with Roly Bone and I took a bit of a swim/beater on the Alpine Sprint section.

did you get the boat and paddle back?

Hey Joe, yes. The boat ended up river right on a shallow bank about 1-2k down river. It took us a while to recover as access was only available from river left bank. The paddle, that was gone. I did have a split Werner that I used for the rest of the trip. James
