Kayaking is very popular out here in the heat of the summer. Most people of course returning to the same location they left from. Trips lasting only a few hours. I did get to see some kayakers sitting in the water right in front of some Killer Whales one evening. They got the show of a lifetime for about 20 minutes! Ontario sure has some great places to see and explore as you show!

Wow. What ideal paddling conditions you had. Smart move to stay close to shore in the lee of the smaller islands... you know... for the safety of your older friend :p. He is quite right though... the micro environment along those rocky stretches of shore is endlessly beautiful. As usual, I learned something new in this one. While I know that GB is enormous - I had no idea that it was #20 if considered as a stand alone body of water. That provides some real perspective on its relative size, as do your well framed drone captures. Some lovely shots at the lunch spot! Great video. Cheers, T.

what do you use to film while paddling? every time i try my camera is bobbing all over.
@flynorthproductions5 ай бұрын
Thanks for asking. I use a relatively inexpensive action camera (Akaso Brave 7) and a fairly low-end gimbal (Hohem iSteady) which I mount on my kayak. The gimbal really does an amazing job of smoothing out the picture; I could never go back to hand-held. I had to make a holder for my gimbal using a 3D printer but I'm sure it can be fastened using other methods. Here's an older video I did on it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iGmVd3p-l8iHeaM
