glad you have your priorities in line....coffee is definitely at the top of my list...lol. Another great paddle, you have a knack for finding cool kayaking spots. I enjoy your videos. As long as it's not lightning, I actually enjoy kayaking in the rain on warm days.

Hi guys this was a really enjoyable video with you travelling to that 1871 lighthouse . 19 miles is a long way that it shines its light! It looked so peaceful as you kayaked and I loved seeing the anglers standing in the water there : ) I was quite surprised to hear that there are still covid restrictions that prevented you going to the lighthouse. That was really good to see , thanks for sharing ~ Anna 👍

Thanks 👍this one was a couple years ago, but we just recently went to a different lighthouse that didn't allow visitors due to current conditions

well winter is on its way here. I'll have less videos soon as a result, I'm not looking forward to the cold.

@@Kayak7seasah that's a shame, don't really know how cold you guys get it over there? Here it's now between say 3/4C at night till about 10/11C degrees by day... (say 35-50F)

I wonder how many of those fishermen standing in waist deep water watched you paddle by and asked themselves, "why aren't I using a kayak?" The Outer Banks is indeed called the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" due to all the shipwrecks offshore. There are literally shipwrecks buried in the sand out there on top of earlier shipwrecks that are buried on top of earlier shipwrecks still. They should have put up a lighthouse! 😊 The only place in the U.S. that comes close to the sheer number of sunken ships is the East Coast of Florida and the Florida Keys. Not quite as many as the Outer Banks but a lot. There are unbelievable treasures laying in the sand out there that will remain where they are until the end of time simply because no one will ever uncover them. Nice video.

I’m pretty sure not a single one of them is wishing they were kayaking. They’re wade fishing in that spot for a reason, it’s a great fishing spot. No need to haul a kayak out just to paddle out 100 feet. Most of them probably have the ability to kayak fish as well just choose to wade fish depending on the occasion. Nice video tho! There’s also a spot you can put kayaks out behind the lighthouse if you park at it , you paddled by it in the video. Would let you explore farther north and some cool islands in that area.
