Might be a stupid question but is there a rule at the green about wearing a full face? Given the mess that gorilla made of that guys pearly whites I cant imagine myself being willing to go anywhere near it without one. edit, nm Watched further on and did see someone in a full face. Guess its just a preference thing.

It is just a preference thing. In this situation there really isn't a reason not to wear a full face. They are expensive but replacing that kids grill is going to be a lot of cash. Most don't wear them because communication can be difficult in them which can be a problem on harder runs or they are just uncomfortable.
