This was beautiful. I believe this song really suits them, how horribly Shouto was treated and how he is expected to grieve fits well with canon and is a great parallel with Conner and Zoey. Same with Natsu and Touya/Dabi how they gave their father their lives and how he treated them in return does not warrant their grief, and how Fuyumi who wanted to believe their father could be good and give him a chance is a good parallel to Connor’s parents who think similarly.

Shouto is so conflicted and you projected those emotions so nicely! I also kept thinking Endeavor's memorial portrait makes him look nicer than he does usually (which fed into this conflicted image motif) and also Shouto has really nice looking hands. Also, the reflection of him in his cell phone, baby Natsuo (so cute), "Within these words I finally find you" (ow, some intense Fuyumi feels there), the pan up to show all four of them and then around to each of the siblings was so nice (the pauses allowing us a good look at them and also goes with the music), limited color makes every difference in shade/shadow and every colorful thing more dramatic, tiny yeet, "So, don't tell me that I didn't have it right. Don't tell me that it wasn't black and white" (the pain and rawness in this expression is just heart-wrenching, also that hair flipping is smooth), "That you were not the monster that I knew" (chills, chills and my poor heart, also the shading on the tears made them more realistic and I like), I like that he snuffs out the candles and puts down the photo and then sets them back up, especially doing it to this softer part, I also liked that you didn't show Rei's face, and just showed the petal falling (and I can't even begin to tell you how much I like that after the petal falls I can tell where in the flower the petal came from!) All in all, I really liked it, it made me very emotional, fantastic job!

This came up on my suggestions today and now I'm sobbing hysterically. Today marks the three year anniversary of the day my dad died and this hit way too close to home. He was incredibly abusive towards me, my brother, and my mother, and we weren't even on speaking terms for the last couple years he was alive.
