Hi from Canada. Why not lay down the insulation first and seal the laps with tape for a proper vapor barrier. Sealing tape should be used on the laps of the metal roofing to prevent water leakage. The screws should be in the valley of the sheet next to the lap and a rubber metal washer used on all screws. On metal roofing laps you should only be using a stitch screw, not into the steel. The high ridges of the sheets are to allow for expansion and contraction. Rubber closures with tape caulking should be used to seal the ends of the sheets. I'll be coming to Philippines soon to build my retirement home. Your crew is good so I want to hire you. I would just like the roofing system installed the North American way. Thanks for the video.

The design of the roof Is fastened on the ridges, I saw some videos from the US with the same profile and fastening. it can be fastened on the valley but the water stays longer to dry( at the valley) and it will corrode the screws unless you are using stainless screws. In the lap joint, the high ribs of the underlayer have a grooved bend to prevent water penetration. Expansion and contraction weren't a problem because it is just Gauge 24 or 26 thin metals and the valley between the hi-ridges has 1 or 2 small ridges profile. The insulation they installed was a Bubble Foam (5mm to 12mm thick), it is not a vapor or damp barrier but for heat insulation Purpose only. I've never used that kind of insulation if it touched the Underside of the roof because it never absorbs moisture and may corrode the metal sheets ( Unless I used Mineral Glass or Rockwool ) and it only filters 10-20% of the heat.
