Since the release of the Switch we got: A sequel to XC1 A pretty good DLC for said sequel A remake of XC1 that fixes just about everything wrong with the original A small, 7/10 expansion that comes packed in with that XC1 remake Pyra/Mythra in Smash ANOTHER sequel on the Switch Release date moved FORWARD by 1-2 months We eating better than the Torna party when Jin's in the kitchen

I really like the visual touches the UI has in game. Like how the characters from the Bionis/Mechonis have circles in their battle menu; while the characters from Alrest have triangles for their UI. Both are indicative of the combat UI from their respective games!

If you frame by frame at around 2:34 of the trailer (when Mio's smiling) you can see that her cross symbol or mark does not seem to have any red coloring in it. It's mostly black similar to Ethel's. Although it could be due to the coloring or hue of the scene, there really seems to be no red in her symbol. Definitely not like Noah's.

I just took a look and I think you're right! If so, that could indicate that no red coloration means you have perhaps 0 years left, while red on the central circle like the rest of the cast has means you have 1 year left. That would be crazy. Thanks for pointing that out!

The tower thing. I absolutely loved it in xenoblade 2 and I'd absolutely love to know too about the others and it does make since there's others since it's on a ring. Also I wished the final area in xenoblade 2 was bigger but it was still an amazing experience.

In the combat sequences we see two blue rings around some characters, I think those are for defenders because the other characters standing inside the ring have a shield icon.

They transform for the first time and beat the crap out of him. He transforms back into Vandham and gives them a cool dying speech about destiny and how cool Ouroboros are.

Can you believe a decade ago in 2012 Xenoblade fans were LUCKY to get 1 of the games from Operation Rainfall And here we are in 2022 where XC 3 is releasing 2 months earlier and had a trilogy of games released on a single console! If you look closely you can see the hatch of the Hover Transport open before its thrown at Vangarre, so it likely landed on him with the open side and he was then trapped inside it during the explosion, shielding him from it. Which is insanely lucky, but does explain how he survived

I loved using Myopic Screen in Xenoblade X. Against a hoard of enemies in overdrive, Myopic screen can raise your TP to the max wth just a single use while simultaneously raising your counter. And best of all, you acquire it very early in the game if you choose the Raygun path.

The point about soldiers of Aionios having only 10 years to live is huge if it is to be believed. Considering how 1 and 2 have their fair share of beings who can live for a very long time (High Entia, Machina, Blade Eaters, Flesh Eaters and Blades (though Blades are tied to their Driver's lifespan)), maybe those like Melia and Nia were saddened by them outliving most of their friends. Perhaps this lead them to create the system with a limited lifespan for people of Aionios so that others wouldn't have to share the same pain they experienced. Either that, or someone else manipulated their feelings for their own gains. It would also make sense why the two nations are at war because of these restrictions. Having a limited lifespan would severely impact a nation's productivity for how long people would be able to work and contribute to a nation's wellbeing. Considering how many of us spend a long time before getting to a specific career, limiting that time could be a sensible cause for a crisis for these two nations and to start a war for other nation's resources.

Thought about the Gort/Mumkhar paralell a lot and much like Vandham I think this may just be a new Xeno-archetype, an important character to one of the main cast's going through a horrifying transformation that reflects their own inner darkness and lack of humanity. It makes me both terrified and excited. If this new monster is to be the antithesis to the Ouroboros, 2 people fusing through a strong shared desire and symbolises unity then what unholy process created it. My first assumption was that it's Isurd and something perhaps about his partner dying caused this monstrosity like a Jin and Lora situation, but he also seems to have a mech as his weapon so unlikey it's him. Perhaps it's gonna be someone much more tied to Noah and his past or the previous 2 games. God I need to play gears...

Thanks! Great video! I don't really buy the whole 'Gort' thing though. They just reused a similar filter for the voice. However, the way the giant beast talks is very different from Gort's. Now, I feel like Aionios is a world where characters from the worlds of Xeno 1 and 2 have reincarnated (maybe Aionios can be seen as a form of hell or purgatory, after all, living 10 years in perpetual war seems pretty hellish to me). So maybe we will see Gort again in some form. However, making him the giant beast would be a pretty random choice... There's so many other cool characters that would be way better.

I already check way too often if an EU Collectors edition is ready for preorder/get announced. Only thing I fear is that the 1-2 Additional characters could lead to a worse character development.
