I watched this and had to go back to his audition to remember who he was-that’s how much I think he has transformed thus far on this show. He seems born to perform and shine, and his songwriting ability is such a testament not only to his talent but sheer hard work. As a mom of an elementary school boy, I weeped ugly tears watching his performance from Hawaii. I’ve had serious mental health struggles and Kayko reminded me that even at our lowest, someone loves us and we have such a big impact on the ones close to us. Hugging my son extra tight tomorrow.

Can you imagine slaving away on your craft and your career, then you help a friend out at her American Idol audition by playing piano...... and then getting an opportunity to have the same experience. I can only imagine what it must feel like to be put up on stage in front of millions of people and have the opportunity to perform the songs you painstakingly worked on and could only of hoped to have the ears of the world hear and enjoy. You can tell in this performance how much he is loving and taking it all in. LETS GO KAYKO!
