Gurl I can truly relate to everything you said as well about what you said about how you felt about them because that's the same way I feel too because when I was in middle school I would get bully,picked on all the time about my disability because they didn't know I had a disability so that's why my friends who knew me like real close they would have to tell them that cus they didn't want people to walk all over me and great me different because of my disability.
