You are absolutely correct about all the folks at GPI, Mrs Kayla. A good group of well rounded Americans that like to make things go fast. Honored to have met you and saw your car up close. You are always welcome back here in Arkansas.

What I really liked about the GPI crew is that throughout the whole engine build, tuning, and clutch installment process they were all very informative and took the time to help you as well as allow you to always be in the shop letting you be involved as much as you could. Awesome crew. Idk if they would make there own KZbin channel just to show the different types of builds. Glad you and the camaro made it home safely.

That's awesome ! I love it when new parts get installed reminds me of when I Installed a rebuilt T56 in my Camaro Z28 for the first time ! then broke it on my first drive Lol I was devastated because When I had It rebuilt a second time I didn't have any money to rebuild the engine with a different Cam to continue the build for more power ! However the engine still ran Good and I had fun with my 1st project Camaro Is what counts! but I sold the Car to start something newer not LS unfortunately or even Chevy for that matter :( I did do a LS swap in my Dads 1994 Chevy truck which is pretty cool It started first crank so I guess I do still play with LS stuff Haahaaa

Really awesome that you're learning everything possible!! After the 23 season Tucson will be the only 1/4 mile game in the state, I work there, we make sure that the track hooks.😁 As far as road courses, you do have some options, might I steer you towards The Podium Club in Casa Grande, run by my Brother-in-law, brand new track, it does have memberships, but is also host to many events where membership isn't required. Maybe I'll see you one day at Anthem Cars&Coffee, it's hitting the road at the crack of ass that is the obstacle for me, but I've done many 24+ hr, red eye cruises, so who knows.😁 Stay awesome!!

Hey Kayla what's up I was wondering do you plan on getting a one-piece drive shaft because with the two piece like the original one that is in the car you do lose a little reaction time a one-piece drive shaft will give it a quicker reaction time and feel like more horsepower at least that's what I've been reading online I'm looking into getting one for my 2011 rebuild
@KaylaRundle2 жыл бұрын
Yes I for sure need a one piece Driveshaft coming soon! Haven’t found which one exactly I want yet but I’m sure you’ll be seeing that install video sometime soon!

I've been checking out the drive shaft shop they have some really nice carbon fiber drive shafts that capable of handling well over 900 horsepower they also have aluminum you might want to check them out online okay can't wait to see what your decision will be on the drive shaft I'm going to check out that place where you got your clutch to see if they have anything for my automatic okay Kayla talk to you soon

So is it super easy to shift then?? I drove the stock 3.91 gears in the SS 1LE and it was super hard to shift for comparison.
@KaylaRundle2 жыл бұрын
It’s smoother to shift since my power level in high rpm’s is consistent. So it’s not jumping to different power levels when I shift

I'm vary curious how this works with the insurance company like if she totals the car does the insurance only cover a stock camero or has she raise the overall amount the car is insured for? Probably playing devil's advocate with this question !

You have to contact the insurance company and give them the added details. My car is covered up to $150k on my plan (not including liability). So if my car got wrecked I’d get a huge pay out lol

Kala, you need to ditch E-85 fuel, it's full of corn alcohol. It will gas wash your rings and cylinder walls, it's like running your engine low on oil. I suggest using Shell or Sunoco premium 93 octane, you can run some Lucas REAL octane booster, it will make 20 gallons of 93 octane into 96 octane. You can always use more Lucas, if you want higher octane. I was hoping you'd start your engine with open headers.
@jakedcrane80192 жыл бұрын
Stop telling fake information. E85 wont cause any issues to engines long as its not sitting in fuel system month. Its also important that fuel trim is correct and engine wont run too lean. When using E85 it needs fully synthetic oil with API SN or API SP because these are designed to be compatible with high content ethanol fuel. Your bad advice increases risk for the Kayla Rundle to have future leukemia because gasolines with below 15% ethanol contain more confirmed carginogens benzene, toluene, xylene. These are stuff harm rubbers, plastics, brass more effectively than ethanol.
