Great stuff. I like that your Beach Boy covers are not limited to the songs that charted, and include deeper cuts. Also-your arrangements are sweet and fine. AND you make them your own, as opposed to a carbon copy. You originals are very fine, too. If you ever gig in the Detroit area, we'll come to see you.

The fact that the lyrics were built around describing this immense attraction, yet the idea of yielding to the temptation of consummating the intensity was completely out of the question! I remember when I first truly discovered Pet Sounds, back about 21 years ago now. I had always been a Beach Boys fan, but this was my first trip into the soul of Brian. The original is beautiful, and this one is hauntingly beautiful too. Especially the start.

Love all the BB covers you've done. I was 15 when Pet Sounds was released. I don't know how many copies I've gone through, but just so you know, you're not the only one who hears something new at every listening. Hey Kayla, your tracks are fantastic. I've been a BB fan since I was a young musician in the Sixties. I have devoured their arrangements, and never thought anyone could cover these tunes in the way they deserve. But you've done it. Plus you've picked their gems. Your taste is impeccable. The downside of Pet Sounds is that it drowned out these other mini masterpieces. Are you still adding songs? If so, I suggest finishing FRIENDS, LOVE YOU, SUNFLOWER, 20/20, etc (easy for me to say). Your voice would kill on I'LL BET HE'S NICE, IN THE BACK OF MY MIND, THIS WHOLE WORLD and a boatload of others. Then you can move on to the Four Freshmen (Ha!) If you need any charts/changes, let me know. I have lots. Plus over 100 BB acapella tracks. Best of luck with your career.
