Incredible that Kaylia Nemour managed to win gold in the country that tried to beat her into submission. This would have been a gold medal for France, if the French gymnastics federations hadn't caused her to change nationalities. This must have been so satisfying for Kaylia, on top of delivering a spectacular performance.

Kaylia's routine was sensational, a thrilling ride from start to finish. A perfect blend of graceful artistry & extraordinary athleticism. It's so compelling I keep watching it over & over again.

Go Kaylia! Crazy that she had to switch nationalities to win! She was born in France and would have represented France but they insisted she ditch her coaches and move to Paris to train. She then applied for Algerian citizenship (her dad is Algerian) so she could continue to train with her coaches. And now she has the last laugh!

There was a “before” and an “after” Nadia comaneci , there will be a “before” and an “after” Kaylia “The Precious Stone” Nemour . She is set to dominate world gymnastics in the years to come. A star is born.

I mean winning gold for Algeria matters more too. It's not only about the training issues.
@Blakenew1272 ай бұрын
@@lollmemmSm0keweed that is beautiful serendipity outcome of this whole ordeal. She made history by winning the very 1st gold medal in the modality not only for Argélia but for Africa. But what she had to endure to get there was completely unfair, FGF actions seemed out of an absurd cartoonish tv villain. It could have not backfired to them in a worse way. I would call it poetic justice. Specially when she might inspire other gymnastics with dual citizenship to do so even if they have no problem with FGF, just for the sake of getting bigger honor and recognition.
