You should turn into your blue form for the first time outside of fountain right near your nexus, after you buy so you can homeguard all the way through your jungle to your gank. Works with red form also.

League is one of those games where every so often I get an itch to play, but then after one round I’m instantly done with it for another 6 months or so, then that weird craving will come back again and the cycle repeats.
