⛩️✨🔱 Kayou Saint Seiya Series 2 🐉🛡️

The Knights of the Zodiak return for a second series of #tradingcards from #kayou. These new #animecards features a grittier, more grown-up art style for the #saintseiya characters. The new AR cards are especially nice as they now feature the knight alongside their artifact.
In this video I'll be opening a few packs from each set so we can really understand what Kayou changed in series 2.

Same here, I've never gotten through a full episode but every piece of art just looks so bad-a*& from this series.

I like kayou products but a lot of times there cards are bent. I love the QR rarity for saint seiya ❤

I agree, series 2 did have a better showing.

For me it's the more "grown-up" art style. I'm not sure if they are using art from a different version now but the characters all seem drawn in a much cooler style on series 2 cards.

Luckily I pulled two numbered SE Hades. 56/99 and 70/99. Surprisingly, the 70/99 was scored in 10 by the grading company.

wtf wow... I see 1 listed at 9.5 on Ebay for... 2,000$!!!! Is that even close to accurate - I'd never seen a Kayou card get that high yet, even top Hero Battle cards.

@@TradingCardArchivist No kidding. I sold the 9.5 ranking one for 1600. The 10 point one will be doubled. My is the first one that graded in 10.

where do you get the numbered cards?

They'll be rare pulls right in the packs. They do that with The Three Kingdoms too, all the top end cards come in both a numbered and a non-numbered version. It's basically exactly like the parallel system in western cards.

ah I get you, this new bigger purple box is the one, series 2. They didn't put serial cards in series 1 unless they were secret chase cards.
