For me mas masarap pa rin kumain sa ganitong old restaurant na may mga simple pero sobrang sarap ng food na may kasama ng historical value. It's like you're also eating a piece of history. Yung ambience din na brings you back to the simple world na nakamulatan mo sa pagkabata at natikman mo yung masarap na siopao at mami. Napaka valueble ng ganitong experience yung hindi ka lang basta kumakain sa Ma Mon Luk.

During college days ko in feu yr. 1981 malimit na akong kumain dto. Untill mag grad. na ako at bumalik na sa Laguna. Nag trabaho, nag asawa at nag abroad. Taon 2016 ng bumalik ako ng bansa at noon lang uli ako nakapag cimba sa quiapo at sympre di pde hindi dadaan at kakain dto. ❤Ganun pa rin ung sarap walang pinagbago. ❤

wish you could do a followup to this story since two issues have to be addressed correctly to dispel misinformation. 1. from the 80s to the 90s when it had six branches, it went by two different brand names. R Ma Mon Luk branches in quezon blvd quiapo, quezon avenue and holiday plaza pasay. WM Ma Mon Luk branches in Aurora Cubao, EDSA Kamias and Katipunan avenue they also had slightly different menus. *WM had more short order offerings while R stuck to a few items aside from the basic mami siopao siomai. 2. Ma Suki (originally Ma Kong which started in Benavides street) claims to have the original Ma Family Mami recipe. How accurate is this and how are the Ma's who operate Ma Suki related to THE Ma Mon Luk. i believe that you have the determination to find the truth here. Should you pursue thie, you will have unlocked decades of mystery. good luck sir.

You mention GANDARA STREET this street according to my grand father Don Arturo Sevilla this was the SHOE CHAIN STORES in Manila back in the 1900's and the best shops can be found around the area and the best imported shoes unfortunately it loose it's popularity the street eventually died out and the area became a place for junk shops could you feature this area in your vlog one of the impotrant street of Manila back in the day

I ate several days ago at MML Quezon Ave. It needs some improvements. The place now looks unclean and has a smell that you’d notice once you enter. Sayang. Iconic brand pa naman.
