Fern - You were able to vlog Hda.Faraon Gil Lopez Kabayao The Famous Violinist I was in high school when he was invited to perform in violin in our School I remember him a handsome musician expert in skills playing violin.Traveling around the world to perform the concert.His father Gil Lopez the wife - Albina Hofilena Lopez .I always heard hacienda Faraon when I was young now thru your vlog it was realizes about the Ancestral house 1841 still exist.This is sensational story it’s incredible,imagining the past history during those time and the relics left vintage furnitures like Aparador,Dressers mirror,Rocking Chair ,antiques tables was preserve intact,the floors and the post,walls,pianos pictures reveals the original Faraon Orchestra a lot to mention.The parents of Former Vice President Fernando Lopez and Eugenio Lopez owner of Meralco -Manila electric company and ABS -CBN.They should be remembered.

I think Meron pa ancestral Haus beside Gil Lopez Elem Scholl built by Americans 1900 ...not sure dun presently owned by gacuma family ...other ancestral hauses SAA negros going north negros sagay city to escalante to San Carlos city part of neg OCC. If you go further it's neg oriental going to as far as dumaguete city neg oriental ..

Correction Fern. Villamor Hall was UP Manila's Conservatory of Music and School of Fine Arts. After WW2, Music and Fine Arts transferred to UP Diliman. The University Theater in UP DIliman was named as the new Villamor Hall. The old Villamor Hall is the current Supreme Court Building which UP Manila still owns.

You have already covered Central and Northern part of Negros Occidental, but there are more to explore. I hope in your next travel to Negros, you will go down south in the Kabankalan-Ilog area where a lot of Peninsulares settled, family names such as the Vidaurrazaga, Azcona, Zayco, Sola, Omarrementeria and even the Adad who I believe are of Lebanese descent. On the Oriental side, you should also visit Sir Fern. There are equally grandiose houses that are still existing at present.

Benito is the other half of BenPres Holdings Corp now called Lopez Corp. Benito had 2 sons Eugenio (the ABS CBN founder) and Fernando (the Vice President).
