Being born and raised here in WV, some people think that he didn't collapse the bridge but was instead trying to warn people it was GOING to collapse, because otherwise he's never actually tried to hurt anyone.

I went through a whole phase with Mothman not too long ago and I can confirm that some people think he collapsed the bridge, some people think he caused it, and some people think it was a coincidence. Mothman lore is fascinating

The cutest looking Mothman ever. Mothman baby our beloved! And those LEDs 👀 They definitely make him look scarier! Also, side note, I think you'd really benefit from using an upholstery needle! he's so cute! i love him but i'm kind of biased since i'm a little obsessed with mothman and i gotta drop some info: mothman is believed to be a highly intelligent being that is actually seen as a warning of oncoming disaster (they were seen before the silver bridge collapse, reportedly seen before 9/11, etc)

Moth man is a oman for upcoming disasters ,he is supposed to only appear right before a disaster so that his presence alone is enough of a warning for those who know who he is,he's not evil he just appears as a warning.

I used to always say "water always helps." then, during some party, my friend hit his head, and I didn't know what the crap else to do but check for a concussion and tell him to drink water. I said what I usually do, and said water always helps. one of my other friends looks me dead in the eye "tell my father that." her dad literally DROWN when she was little (she doesn't remember him, but has a happy family now) She starts laughing like crazy while the rest of us stand dumfounded. its a funny story now, but still crazy when i think back on it. (my friend who hit his head was just fine) I was just reminded of it when she said drink some water.

Moths and other insects have two tarsal claws (naily/ hooky bits) at the end of each of their "feet" so having fewer than five fingers puts you part way between a human and a moth which is oddly appropriate. As professional sawer, I DO ALL THE UGLY PARTS OF SAWING AT THE BACK!!! when you dress the mothman, do the stiching at the back, like down the spine..as well as the wings: wrap them backwards, so that the glue and wire is at the back, NOT facing forward.. you are so immensely talented, so this little sawers trick might improve your work AND SAVE YOU TIME, which is the most important..🤗💕

The Mothman is proooobably my favorite cryptid in the entire world. I'm in my early 30s, so before creepypastas, SCPs, and the new meaning of "conspiracy theories", they were called urban legends. They were SO popular in fact, that they made a series of movies called--you guessed it--Urban Legend, where all the terrifying myths we used to tell each other at sleepovers and shit, actually happened to people! Three of the most popular urban legends of the day: 1) Always check your seat before sitting down at a movie theater. There have been several cases of people sitting down, feeling a poke, then standing up only to find a small note on the chair that says, "Congratulations. You have just been infected with HIV". People were hiding used syringes inside the seats. 2) Everyone knows that girls should always be especially careful to watch their drinks when at parties or on first dates. But, everyone needs to be on guard now because the following has been happening all over the Western World: you'll be at a party and some pretty girl/cute guy will strike up a conversation with you. They'll start to flirt, and before long, all of your friends are ready to go home--but you're not. So, you stay at the bar with your new crush and before you know it, you black out. The next thing you remember is jolting awake, freezing cold, in a place you don't recognize. As the drug wears off, you realize you're in a bathtub filled with ice, and you have a long cut, stitched-up across the side of your back. Last night's cute stranger was a decoy, and you've just had your kidney harvested for sale on the black market. 3) Somewhere in the U.S. there was a horrifying case. A new, first-time mother has been awake all night just like the night before...and the night before that...and the night before that. But today's an important day because her in-laws are coming to visit to meet their new grandbaby. Daddy's at work, so she has to do it all on her own. No problem though, she's entertained many times before. So, she makes all of the food, puts the roast in the oven, puts the baby down for a nap, sets the timer, and decides to use this time to maybe, just maybe, get some sleep. The timer wakes her up, and thank goodness--she actually got several straight hours of sleep! So she heads downstairs to turn it off before going to the nursery to feed the baby. But to her absolute horror, her baby is not in the crib--what she sees instead is a raw, unopened pot roast, tucked neatly under the blanket with baby's favorite teddy bear. Hehehe! Hope you liked them and haven't heard all of them before! 😘❤
