Can you please make more lace zips bags?? I ordered 40!! Zips and need more desighns😂
@KaysCutz Жыл бұрын
LOL I am sure there will be many more in due course. I get my zips 40 at a time too as it is much cheaper. I use mine both under the fabric as well as on top as they are prettier than a standard zip and KK does have quite a few zipped bags that you can use them on. Here is a lace zip bag that you might like and I did a video for it too. www.kreativekiwiembroidery.co.nz/product/In-the-hoop-Diamond-Bag.html Other zipped bags on Kreative Kiwi Embroidery www.kreativekiwiembroidery.co.nz/category/bags.html

Thank you a great gift idea. Could you slit the stabiliser on the zipper before you add the back?
@KaysCutz5 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't because as soon as you cut into it the tension changes and could distort. Stabilizer keeps everything from moving. It isn't hard to use a stitch un-picker afterward. If I make it look clumsy it is only because I have a camera under my eyes and cant always see what I am doing properly.

Hi Maria your're welcome and yes you can. Any design that is smaller than your biggest hoop can be used so a 5x7 hoop can do 5x7 and 4x4 but not a bigger design design. I hope that helps.

Per the website I used this video to make the larger purse, 8x10 (there are about 4 sizes for the purse I'm making). It does not leave an opening to turn so I had to do unstitch all of the stitching for the various layers. Is there a glitch in my purse embroidery design?
@KaysCutz3 жыл бұрын
Hi Maureen, the designs are so well tested it is unlikely that the problem lies there. Have you opened the file in embroidery software of any kind? If you did delete the files you unzipped, then unzip the downloaded file again, drag and drop the files you are going to stitch straight onto a USB key and put it into your machine. Embroidery software can cause problems with the files as it can auto sort the colours without you realizing. this will change the order of the colours and prevent things from stopping where they should. Have a read of Kreative Kiwi's blog post on this subject www.kreativekiwiembroidery.co.nz/blog/Embroidery-software-changing-design-files.html If you are still having problems afterward email Kreative Kiwi their email address is at the top of their website page. Let me know how you get on.
@maureenkearns53763 жыл бұрын
I have downloaded embroidery software and will do as you said today. Thank you SO much for replying so quickly. Trying to work on this purse as my "usual" belated birthday gift for a niece and I'm so anxious to make it and get it to her. She'll love it. Other than that problem on my end, the video is excellent and I'm so glad you go slowly and your hands aren't in the way of what we need to see, as happens on some other companies embroidery videos, making it very difficult to follow.
@KaysCutz3 жыл бұрын
@@maureenkearns5376 Yes do not open the files in your software as it is likely to be responsible for altering the stitch files. There is actually a warning in the instructions not to do so for exactly this reason. Happy stitching

Wonderful, love how small it is, but what is the finished size and can/when could I add a cord to carry just keys for example my husband and I play Santa & Mrs. Claus. I think this would be a perfect accessory in white, but need a cord. Thank you
@KaysCutz5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jackie, yes you can add a cord you would do so when you add the backing sandwiching it between the front and back on one side.so it gets sewn into the side seams.

@KaysCutz5 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa I am sorry you found it hard to keep up. It is sped up in places throughout so that you can get on with your stitch out without wasting too much of your time watching things that are repetitive such as the machine stitching, taping fabric, trimming up excess fabric and batting, turning and such like, as most people don't like videos that drag on when they are stitching the design out. I do try to strike a balance to suit as many people as possible but you comment is duly noted. Thank you for watching and thank you for your feedback is is very much appreciated.
