I definitely like the term "sweet" instead of "normal" for that type of villager. It does a better job of describing them, and normal is a pretty general term anyway. I'm gonna start using that too. Congratulations on finding a cute doggy!

It made more sense in the older games where the other personality types were more... abnormal. 😅Normies felt like a breath of fresh air between all the craziness, although now people say they're boring. Like Marina's quote is "I think I'm the only sane one in this village".

I'm definitely still playing hardmode. It also taught me that if I get tired of my island or stop playing, just start a new one. It keeps it fun and interesting and I enjoy the daily grind when I have time.

When I was playing Animal Crossing New Horizons, my #1 Dreamie was Lobo. I never ended up finding him on a villager hunt, I caved in and paid 200k bells for him on Nookazon. I liked Lobo a lot, but he never quite had that certain place in my heart as Wolfgang did. Wolfgang, I had him as a villager on my first island within a month of me first playing, so he was around a long time.

This motivated me to add some of these rules to my playing. I now have to let any animal go that asks! One of my biggest things that made my game feel stale was never changing villagers. Working on 100% completion of stamps right now!

I’m still playing hard mode! I had a campsite villager yesterday and Tybalt is getting kicked out by Sasha. But I’m consistently surprised I like the villagers i have only because of hard mode. For example Sly is great and has a very fun house.

For the photos you have a better chance if you talk to them first and then give them something wrapped. I've been collecting photos and that's the quickest way ive noticed. Some people give non native stacked fruit wrapped and say its great. I usually do some expensive furniture
